Anticipatory Bail Granted in 498-A & 406 IPC


The Hon'ble Rajasthan High Court has granted anticipatory bail under section 438 Cr.P.C. for the offences committed under section 498-A & 406 IPC.

Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in F.I.R. No.173/2016 registered at Police Thana Mahila, District Kota for offences under Sections 498-A & 406 Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Heard.

On 2.08.2016 following order was passed by this court:-

"List again on 27.9.2016. In the meantime, in the event of arrest, petitioners be released on interim bail subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. Petitioners shall abide by the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C."

Co-accused Manish Kumar has been granted anticipatory bail by this court vide order dated 16.08.2016. Learned Counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have joined investigation. There is nothing on record to suggest to the contrary.

Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioners vide order dated 2.08.2016, is made absolute.

Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
